I had the opportunity to do the prettiest bridal makeup at the Lodge Jamberoo which I have added to my list of one of my most favourite places for weddings!
The venue has undergone a complete refurbishment – it used to be a no go zone for me until now!
But more than anything – I was so excited to be asked by stunning sweetest Kate to do her makeup for her special day.
She gave me complete free range as to what I chose to do – which always ensures that the makeup will look it’s best – when the bride insists on how she wants her hair and makeup done – that’s a good way to ensure that the makeup will not suit the brides lovely features.
I am so grateful for Alicia from Form Over Function for recommending me to Kate – the best part when working with other suppliers who I know – I can ask them to confirm flower colours etc. – because this way, I can ensure that the makeup not only flatters the bride’s colouring, but I can also ensure that the colour of her lipstick doesn’t conflict with the colours of the flowers! This seems trivial – but it does ensure that the whole look – as you can see in these pictures just looks flawless!
