Bridgerton comes to Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW
I don’t do as much of this as I used to – let alone in Bowral in the Southern Highlands – I usually have to travel to Sydney or Canberra for this work – but I had a wonderful time for 3 days being Nicola Coughlan’s and Luke Newton’s stylist for the launch of season 3 of Bridgerton – the extremely popular show that has raving fans watching it across the world.
Bridgerton comes to Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW!
Nicola wore a dress that weighed 20 kilos – trying to get her into it took her hair and makeup artists as well as myself some super human skills – besides the weight of the dress – I had to corset her into a corset so that the dress sat right.
Thank goodness she is so used to being corseted – she has to wear corsetry for Bridgeton – she told me that the amount of time it takes to get her and Luke dressed in the outfits is extremely time consuming – let alone the wigs and makeup!
I also had the joy of dealing with Jess – she is the screen writer of this marvellous series – highly talented, super smart and just lovely.
Nicola and Luke were just as nice – Luke is more handsome in real life than on set – and naturally has that some what aloof demeanor till you break down his barriers.
Nicola on the other hand is just simply Divine – the sweetest, warmest, most real adorable human ever!

Nicola had so many outfits I had to work with – it was so much fun – the one we ended up choosing for the photo shoot involved massive amounts of double sided wardrobe tape to keep her volumous breasts from popping out of the leather bra.
Luke’s outfits looked simple – but I spent huge amounts of time steaming his gear between shoots – it had to be perfect – but boy did everything crush constantly! But I had a wonderful time working with the amazing team – hopefully they come back to Bowral again!
