I love a good Anti-bride wedding – a non classic wedding dress, or a elopement with just you, your loved one and your best friends.
This gorgeous wedding was held at Wildwood in Kangaroo Valley.
Adelaide and her darling (sorry I forgot his name) were just the most delightful out there couple using Dinosaurs wearing wedding outfits on their wedding cake (wish they had sent me photos!) instead of the classice bride and groom.
Whilst I was doing her pink tinged hair (unfortunately you cannot see the wonderful colour in the photos) – flowers were still being hot glued to her flower crown to match her unbelievably gorgeous non-wedding, wedding dress!
Her real native wedding flowers, wedding dress and flower crown all came together perfectly!
Her only instruction with her makeup was that she wear a dark red lip to match the dark reds in her dress and flowers because that made her feel like herself.
At the trial we went with a bolder eye – but on the day – the sun was so bright and gorgeous for a winters day – we decided to go lighter with the eyes and just add more false eyelashes to make her stunning eyes pop!
I love(ed) the dress – it wasn’t a wedding dress – just a stunning ball gown – it flattered her figure so well and didn’t cost her a fortune in alterations.
Her mother was going through aggressive chemotherapy and had lost all of her hair – I did a skin treatment first on her before applying her makeup and styling her wig – she felt so pretty – she could not stop hugging me – that makes my job all worth while ♥️
