If you love that natural luminous makeup look – be aware that there is ‘natural makeup’ and “sculpted natural makeup’.
What is the difference between them?
Sculpted natural makeup is what you often see when you go onto Pinterest – the girls look like they have the perfect faces – high cheekbones, big eyes, slender noses and full pouty lips.
Their faces have been contoured to an inch of their lives to create a natural glowing look – unfortunately- this look when seen at close up is everything bar natural.
I often get sent lots of images of lovely sculpted faces as makeup inspo – so I have developed a technique to achieve a version of the sculpted look without anyone seeing that your face has been sculpted. The best bit is that even your darling can not see that you have had any contouring done – you still look like you – but just a tad more perfect than usual – so they think that it is because you are wearing a divine wedding dress! (or pants/ pant suit!)
Sophie wanted incredibly natural makeup – but the downside of that is that when you are photographed your face often looks a bit flat.
Her makeup was extremely natural and she wanted a very soft cheek – so that she still kept her facial definition – I contoured under her cheekbones with the softest of chocolate brown – so that her beautiful features still popped!
I used singular false eyelashes and a chocolate liner above her eye to give her eyes that defined look – I didn’t use any eyeliner underneath – although the small amount of soft cacao coloured eyeshadow under her eyes gave her lots of definition.
