Elegant timeless hair and makeup in the Southern Highlands – is my most favourite of makeup styles – it can be soft and natural, or glamorous – but it has to suit the bride’s personality to a T or it won’t look right.
Sweet, funny Antonia and gentle hubby to be Ben wanted a simple stylish wedding – Ben a doctor was studying and had many more years of study to go, so he didn’t want anything over the top that would take huge amounts of time to plan and instigate.
Bendooley Estate was perfect for them, the gardens divine, the Bookbarn crew happy to do most of the hard work for them – so they chose this as their perfect place to get married.
Antonia’s dress was just one of the most beautiful gowns I have ever seen – although she had lost a pile of weight since her last fitting due to a healthy diet replacing her naughty one and I had to literally sew her into the dress before to ensure that it stayed up!
The upside of having no bridal party on the day was that she didn’t have to start early – although her best friend was a stand in bridesmaid – she steamed the dress for Yvonne with her hubby – I was really impressed:)
Yvonnes hair had a huge amount of layers – so putting it up was no mean feat – but we got it up and she looked so stunning – and she wore the most amazing earrings to finish off the simplicity of the whole bridal look.
She wanted her makeup to be very natural as she normally doesn’t wear any makeup – so we kept it very natural and dewy using false eyelashes to enhance her eyes – a full set of varying lengths so it didn’t look over done.
