Old world romance Robertson Hotel wedding
I love the old world style of the Robertson Hotel – when you enter the building it feels like you have stepped back in time – from the fire in the foyer which leaves a lingering smell all year round – to the gorgeous light filled bridal suite!
Stunning Cynthia – my Japanese princess married her sweet, old fashioned gentle Jack on a hot and oppressive day which decided to love them enough to drop the temperature gauge just before they walked down the isle!

They chose to have their photos done so that they looked as if they came from a era gone.

Cynthia teaches circus performance acrobatics – so her body is strong and she moves like a dancer – which you can see in how she moves in the photos!

She wanted the simplest ballet bun – with a beautiful Korean feeling makeup with lots of pinks and shimmer – it was a two woman job working out the perfect colours – we had two trials to get it right! But that is something that sometimes needs to happen if you have a dream makeup goal which you just want more than anything else.

Her maids looked stunning in their burgundy dresses and matching lips! I love a matching red lip with dress!

Because Cynthia loves dancing she changed her outfit after their first dance. It had a 1920s flapper style look about it – and her makeup was still intact as was her hair!
